EON HOMEPAGE CONTRIBUTORS

Creating a webpage can be a Herculean task, and the success of a site often depends on the kindness of strangers who offer information, ideas, and material. Due to the longevity of "The Edge of Night" and its virtual absence in the press prior to the 1970's, gathering information for this site is very difficult. Therefore, I am particularly indebted to the following people who very kindly submitted information, ideas, and support:

PHILIP CHASE: Phil has been invaluable to me in re-creating the storylines from EDGE's Golden Age, particularly the years 1956-63. He has spent many hours typing obscure information about stories, characters, and actors. Phil's assistance has been considerable, and I'm deeply grateful for his generosity to (and interest in) TEON Homepage. THANK-YOU, Phil!

JIM CONLIN: Jim very graciously continues to research crucial storylines from Edge's early history and provide excellent summaries of individual episodes. Jim's summaries, stylish and well-written, are much appreciated by myself and other Edge fans.

RUSS CROWELL: Russ provided the terrific audio recording of the March 8, 1977 episode in which Revenant and Nicole had a final confrontation. It was a treat to hear that show again and to have the opportunity to place the transcript online for everyone. Thank-you, Russ!

JOHN HEATH: John's assistance with storylines and cast lists from 1963-70 were invaluable to me. He also provided me with 45 episodes of the series covering the period of 1957-59. John's value and contributions to this site were ENORMOUS; I cannot thank him enough for his help!

TERRY JOHNSON: Terry wrote extremely detailed narratives for the following storylines: Eve Morris (1964), Laura Hillyer/Rick Oliver(1966), and Julie Jamison (1967-68). Terry also provided storyline information for the serial "Somerset". Terry's narratives will be available as soon as the CBS storylines are completed and placed on the site. I'm sure fans will enjoy them immensely. Thanks, Terry!

BOB LIA: Special thanks to Bob for providing video and audio of the Bryson Clinic story.

JEFF MARTIN: Many of the audio captures here are courtesy of Jeff, who generously supplied me with nearly forty episodes of Edge audio. These have been particularly useful in creating character profiles and verifying factual information about stories and characters.

"py": My cyberpal "py" donated a great deal of Edge audio and video material, which will be placed on the site over the next year. I am particularly indebted for the complete lyric version of the original C&B theme. Wish good things for "py" Edgers..."py's" one in a million.

NICK ST. ANGELO: Nick very graciously shared his copy of the extended Paul Taubman with me for use on this site. Nick's generosity is much appreciated...if only there more like him and our pal "py"!

JIM TAYLOR: I am deeply indebted to Jim for supplying this site with extremely rare material, mostly from the CBS years. Jim's material appears all over the site: title sequences, frame grabs, audio grabs, and episode transcripts. Jim's generosity in sharing obscure material is greatly appreciated by myself and fans of the site. His contribution has been invaluable.

JAY TULL: EDGE aficionado Jay knows more about "The Edge of Night" than any other person I know. Jay's knowledge of (and memory for) minute details is absolutely mindboggling. Jay has helped me in every area of this website, always catching my mistakes and correcting mis-information. Additionally, Jay very generously wrote episode summaries of EDGE episodes found in the Museum of Television and Radio archives. Thank you So Much for sharing those, Jay!!!

MICHAEL WILCOX: Corresponding with Michael has been an absolute delight. His vivid recollections of Edge, particularly the Laura Hillyer/Julie Jamison storylines, were extremely valuable in writing the story summaries for 1967 -68. Additionally, he provided accurate and detailed cast lists for that period-- lists which have been especially useful in the Cast List/Short-term Actors section.
